Customer Reviews for Groomers and Pomade

Daniel Majchrzak — 5/5 (via Google)

I have visited many barbershops across NYC when first moving to the area and this one is by far the best. All the barbers do an amazing job and you will not be disappointed. I would not go anywhere else

Hands down the best barbershop experience that you can get. From the friendly and skilled barbers cutting hair to the cleanliness of the shop, I am never disappointed. The shop is by appointments and they are punctual so you never have to wait 30-1hr for your haircut. Shout out to nando for his professionalism and consistency.

Amaury has been my go-to for almost two years now. Historically, it’s been hard to commit to barbers because with my thinning hair they usually just want to cut it all off. At some point I get sick of trying to say leave a little more on top. He talked me through his process initially and actually makes the hair I have look good - lots of compliments. Now he just works his magic and I can relax. I’m just sorry I haven’t given this review yet!! Would highly highly recommend.

Cesar Pomarico — 5/5 (via Google)

I come all the way from Tribeca to get my haircut by Nando. Very talented barber and incredibly consistent. I’m pretty particular about my haircut and Nando is one of the few barbers who gets it right every time. Clean fade, sharp lines, and the vibe in the shop is solid. If you’re looking for a consistent great cut or try a new hairstyle you can count on the barbers at Groomers and Pomade to execute.

Ruben Pliego — 5/5 (via Google)

Ahhhh! It was nearly exactly a year ago when I moved back to the neighborhood to my old stomping grounds (East Williamsburg). I was in dire need of a new barber and I remember my old coworker Amaury posting about his new passion. Mind you I met Amaury when I was 19 at a restaurant in the Upper East Side (Bella Blu) working in a completely different field. So I naturally had to check the place out and will never forget my first experience with Groomers and Pomade as they were first hitting the scene. Didn’t get to meet the owner back then but I remember Amaury mentioning Nando and his vision . But since I only visited my mom and dad, I really never had a chance to go back: I lived in Elmhurst at the time and it was out of my way. So we hit the fast forward button and we are in July 2024, I walk back in need of a new hairstyle and to my surprise my old coworker Amaury was not there that day but I had the pleasure of meeting Stu! He said he only been cutting hair for about 3 months officially and his brutal honesty made me feel even more confident of giving him a chance to work his magic. And ever since then I haven’t missed a single haircut with Stu. It comes to show you what happens when you give people an opportunity. Thank you Stu! Too many more years to come!
